We are seeking Food and Beverage Associates who will be cross-trained in hosting, food running, and in-room dining. The F&B Associate will deliver service to guests in these areas as well as provide support to all associates in accordance with established Marriott Brand Standards. The F&B Associate will promote a positive image of the property to guests, and must be pleasant, friendly and able to address problems or special requests as they arise.

A typical day may include:

- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Effectively handle guest concerns as they arise.
- Confidently anticipate and respond to needs and expectations of our guests.
- Providing prompt, courteous and efficient food & beverage services for our Restaurant guests within the Marriott Brand Standards.
- Completing opening and closing duties.
- Pick up orders efficiently from the kitchen.
- Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy.
- Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner.
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
- Assisting in other areas of F&B as required.

Qualifications:

- Serving it Right certification required.
- Food Safe Certification required.
- A strong understanding of the hotel Food and Beverage operation and all areas within the department.
- Open availability for AM & PM shifts including weekends.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs
