Quality Assurance Technician

Antec Controls is experiencing rapid growth and to support this momentum, we’reexcited to introduce the newly created role of QA Technician.We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized individual to join ourteam. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the highest of quality standards are met for all products and processes.
- Performs routine processquality checks
- Performs quality inspections on parts and finishedgood assemblies
- Facilitates on processing field quality issues,customer returns and supplier quality issues
- Administers the issuance of non-conforming reports and works with the affected department on the formulation of corrective action plans
- Conducts training and certification of production associates
- Creates and updates procedures and work instructions as required
- Assistsin the maintenance and improvement of the quality management systems required by ISO 9001 standards
- Conducts internal audits based on ISO 9001 standards
- Works with manufacturing on process improvement initiatives
- 2+ years’ experiencein quality related position in manufacturing environment
- College Diploma, or Technology program or equivalent
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standardsand internal audits
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work both independently and in teamenvironment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables.
