Bodyshop Estimator/administrator

**Dixon Automotive Group Canada Limited is looking for a Body Shop Estimator/Appraiser to join our team**

The Dixon Automotive Group is a local family owned and operated company consisting of Kia of Brockville, Smiths Falls Kia, Brockville Nissan, 6 Dixon’s Car & Truck Rental locations and 5 CarStar body shops.

The Body Shop Estimator/Appraiser will provide detailed estimates on client vehicle repairs, interact with customers to explain required and suggested repairs, compile reports as required, and communicate with team to ensure accurate expectations are provided.

**Position Duties**:
Greet customers and offer excellent customer service from intake to release of their vehicles.

Determine and diagnose car issues based on customer description and vehicle condition.

Translate customer-reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete.

Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding services.

Maintain customer records and enter data into computer databases.

Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines and complete all assigned tasks.

**Requirements**:
Experience providing high quality customer support.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to think critically, troubleshoot and multi-task.

Experience working with service software, databases and tools (Ex. Audatex, Mitchell, Reynolds and Reynolds).

Experience estimating the cost of the vehicle damage and the time for the repair.

Coordinating work processes with the technicians and other departments of the organization.

Keeping up with market trends and prices and competitor strategies.

Following automotive industry safety norms and standards.

Ability to influence, negotiate and mediate effectively.

Valid G Drivers Licence.

**Assets**:
2+ years of Estimator/Appraiser experience.
