**Job Summary**:
The Sponsorship Manager is tasked with coordinating sponsorship efforts for the International Indigenous Hip Hop Awards Show Inc. while also exploring additional funding opportunities. This part-time position involves cultivating relationships with new sponsors, managing existing partnerships, and researching potential grants. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications, the Sponsorship Manager is integral to the organization's marketing department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop strategies to attract new sponsors.
- Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with sponsors.
- Identify potential granting agencies to support the organization's initiatives.
- Establish connections with relevant granting agencies.
- Facilitate sponsor obligations fulfillment by obtaining necessary materials and information.
- Regularly review existing sponsorship agreements.
- Provide necessary paperwork and invoices to accounting and clients.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of sponsorship activities.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by the Manager of Programming & Venues.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Self-motivated with a track record of meeting critical deadlines efficiently.

**Assets**:

- Prior experience in sponsorship or fundraising roles.
- Understanding of post-secondary student associations' culture and objectives.
- Knowledge of the 18-24 demographic and market dynamics.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
- Proficiency with Macintosh computers and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year
