**Who We Are**
Animal Hospital of Cambridge is a small animal hospital with AAHA accreditation located in Cambridge, Ontario. We are part of the Vet Strategy network of hospitals that provides routine preventative care as well as daytime emergency & critical care services 7 days a week. We have been providing excellent patient care since 2004, and in 2018 moved to our new larger location to support our growing client base. We see a wide variety of medical, dental, emergency and surgical cases including orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. We are fortunate to have an in-house Board-Certified Surgeon available to our clients.
Duties/requirements for this position can include:
- Answering phones/ triage / booking appointments
- Communicating, interacting, managing client expectations, helping and building trusting relationships with pet parents
- Maintain cleanliness of reception area and follow check lists
- Maintaining medical records
- Invoicing / Working with POS terminals, bondable
- Follow up phone calls to maintain relationship with pet parents
- Unpacking inventory order / restocking shelves
- Maintaining cleanliness of clinic, exam rooms & work stations (internal/external)
- Weighing pets prior to exams
- Maintaining functions of webstore and telemedicine websites
- Administrative record filing, scanning or creating attachments to medical records
- Processing pet insurance claim forms and EFT’s
- Assisting Veterinarian/technicians if needed
- Processing payment plans
- Client education on basic pet needs and life stage nutrition choices (training provided)
