**Overview**
**Duties**
- Assist in implementing daily activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being for residents.
- Engage residents in group and individual activities, ensuring participation and enjoyment.
- Support residents with mobility challenges during activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families to foster a supportive environment.
- Document resident participation and feedback on activities to help tailor future programming.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to identify residents' needs and preferences related to activity engagement.
- Maintain a clean and organized activity space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving or working in an assisted living or nursing home setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with seniors and their families.
- Knowledge of dementia care principles is a plus.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in enhancing the lives of seniors.
- Flexibility to adapt activities based on the varying needs of residents.

Pay: $20.50-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week
