Mid-East Food Center is a family owned international supermarket that embodies a variety of cultural cuisines and products from all over the world. We are looking for a positive, dedicated and hardworking individual to take on one of our various department manager roles.

Responsibilities include:

- Acquire strong product knowledge of Mid-East Food Center inventory
- Manage daily operations to meet store goals
- Perform inventory control to avoid over stock and low stock.
- Ensure that grocery shelves are maintained clean and organized
- Ensure that all products are properly tagged and labeled.
- Ensure that shelves are loaded with fresh products all the times.
- Develop positive shopping experience and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Advise and assist customers with their choices of products
- Manage, supervise and train staff
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Communicate Mid-East Food Center standards and expectations to management team and sales associates
- Maintain Mid-East Food Center standards and hold staff accountable for providing quality customer service and achieving sales goals
- Assign daily workload and schedules to staffs.
- Setup product displays in store entrance and other sections according to merchandising standards.
- Maintain the store clean, safe and appealing.
- Develop process improvements to maximize sales and profitability.
- Educate staffs about safety and sanitation procedures.

Requirements include:

- 3+ years of work experience in retail sales
- Proven ability to motivate a sales force
- Must present a positive professional and energetic attitude
- Must possess a passion for customer service and selling
- Excellent oral and communication skills required.

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
