**Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Cafe Attendant to join our Stone Crock Team at our Cafe located inside the CIGI Building at 67 Erb St. W. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering outstanding customer experiences while assisting with food preparation and service. Your contributions will help uphold our commitment to quality and hospitality. Typical hours will be Monday and Tuesday 8am-2:30pm.
**Responsibilities**

**Greet and assist customers with their orders, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.**
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including dining and preparation spaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide support during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
- **Qualifications**

**Proven experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is essential.**
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Barista experience is an asset but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
