Skylounge Ottawa is hiring an assistant manager to support all managerial duties. Good with numbers? Leadership? User experience? Customer service? This job may be great for you You will be paired with a management team that brings different strengths.

This position will involve shifts on weekends as well as the occasional holiday. Hours will vary based on shifts available and client contracts.

You will have the privilege of working with event management, completing managerial payroll duties, using scheduling and labour systems, inventory and POS, team management, and so much more. These tasks will be completed alongside general management and ownership to ensure all service goals and sales and labour goal expectations are met.

We are looking for a responsible Assistant Manager to help organize and run our establishment and fill in for General Manager when needed. Your job will be highly important in ensuring the team meets its goals of efficiency, sales, labour and customer satisfaction. Assistant Manager responsibilities include hiring and training employees and monitoring & ordering inventory. You will be encouraged to analyze the behaviours of customers and competitors.

Ultimately, the duties of the Assistant Manager are to make sure our establishment operates effectively and that we keep our customers happy.
- Assist General Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers.
- Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments)
- Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
- Monitor and maintain store inventory
- Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
- Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
- Coach and support new and existing employees
- Handle complaints from customers
- Create reports, analyze and interpret sale data, like revenues, expenses and competition.
- Make sure all employees adhere to the company’s policies and guidelines
- Act and set an example for our staff

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.50-$24.00 per hour
