WorkSafeNB is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to fill a vacancy in the areas from Campbellton to Miramichi. Reporting to the Manager, Compliance Services, you promote safe and healthy work environments across the province through educating employers and employees on their rights and responsibilities. Your key areas of responsibility: - Promote safe and healthy workplaces across the province through conducting workplace inspections and enforcing the New Brunswick Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Act and its Regulations. - Required to be on call, and first on scene, to investigate incidents, complaints, and work refusals. - Provide expertise, consultation and assistance to clients, Prevention Team, other members of WorkSafeNB as well as internal and external technical committees.
