Supervisor, Front of House

The **Supervisor, Front of House** is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Street Kitchen, ensuring a positive customer experience, and leading a team of Servers. Our Supervisors contribute to creating a safe and inclusive workspace for all Parallel 49 Brewing Company team members and guests.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversee Street Kitchen operations during your shift, with guidance from the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, including sales monitoring and maintaining a clean, organized environmentProvide exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
-Lead and direct servers' work during your shift
-Assist with all server duties, including serving guests, running food and beverages, clearing tables, washing glassware, working in the retail store, stocking, and cleaning
-Assist in training new Front of House employees
-Build beer knowledge of Parallel 49 Brewing Company beers on tap and guide guests in their beer choices
-Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, as well as local alcohol laws
-Resolve customer complaints and conflicts professionally and promptly
-Escalate Front of House performance concerns to the General Manager and assist in monitoring performance improvement
-Foster teamwork and collaboration among staff to create a positive work environment
-Administer and track staff discount program, reporting any misuse
-Change 50L kegs and assist in organizing the keg fridge
-Ensure cleanliness of all areas of the Street Kitchen and assign staff duties from the daily and weekly cleaning checklist
Be the last employee to leave the building, lock all Street Kitchen doors, and arm the alarm system as per standard operating procedures for closing shifts
- Perform opening and closing duties as required and specified in SOPs

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the food and beverage industry is requiredMinimum of 1 year of supervisory experience is required for external applicants
-Must be of legal drinking age and have a valid serving it right certificate
-Experience using a point of sale system
-Strong leadership and organizational skills
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to stand for long periods of time, move/walk consistently throughout your shift and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

**Preferred Skills**
- Knowledge of craft beer styles, brewing processes, and industry trendsKnowledge of and experience using Excel
-Experience training new staff
- Cicerone certification
