We are looking for a Quality Inspector, for our afternoon shift.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform first article, in process and final inspection on machined and sheet metal components
- Calibrate and verify tools if qualified to do so
- Maintain quality control records for measuring equipment
- Recommend inspection process changes which could improve the overall product quality
- Work with the Quality Manager to find root causes, identify risk and implement corrective and preventive actions to close the NCR
- Responsible for following Quality Procedures, Safety Procedures and Lean Procedures
- Complete Quality Reports, data entry, and other work order documentation

**Qualifications & requirements**:

- 1-2 years of working experience in Sheet Metal Industry (preferred)
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings to understand specified dimensional and functional characteristics to be tested, measured or inspected
- Proficiency with standard measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
- Ability to interpret and follow inspection and test procedures and document results accurately
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- ASQ certification (An asset)
- Excellent attention to details
- Record keeping skills
- ISO QMS knowledge (An asset)
- Internal Auditing experience (An asset)

**Shift Availability**:

- 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, Monday to Thursday, overtime maybe available on Friday/Saturday
- Shift from 2:00 pm to 12:30 am is also available if you are taking transit
- Night shift premium will be added to the wage
