Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Inspector will work in a quick paced environment and must be aware of and follow all quality and safety procedures in the operation of their duties. The individual will work closely with production and logistics to ensure the accurate and timely inspection of parts prior to shipping.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform inprocess and final (visual & dimensional) inspection of parts ensuring conformance to print requirements.
- Work from complicated drawings, sketches, operation sheets and specifications, using standard methods and procedures to perform conventional and CMM inspection.
- Measure parts and products to verify conformance to drawings and/or specifications using standard gauges, FARO Arm and Vision Measuring System.
- Use a variety of precision measuring instruments such as vernier height gages, bore gauge, micrometers, vernier calipers, gage blocks, etc.
- Execute daily inspections of the work in progress according to QMS and maintain accurate records of the inspections.
- Assist operators to carry out their quality assurance functions.
- Create dimensional inspection reports.
- Assist in maintaining conformance to N299.3 and AS9100 requirements.
- Review QA docs (MTRs, CofCs, DIRs) and create QA Documentation packages for customer approval.

**Requirements / Experience**:

- Grade 12 minimum, prefer post-secondary certificate in a related field
- Ideally 2-3 years of related inspection experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical bulletins.
- Knowledge of GD&T.
- Innovative with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively under deadlines and balance multiple priorities.
- Must possess good critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task.
- Able to communicate issues and concerns effectively.

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour
