OEC Group is actively seeking to fill the regular full-time hybrid **Air Export Specialist - Time Critical Solutions** role at the head office located in St-Laurent, Qc.

**Responsibilities**:
Working under the direction of the Export Manager, the **Air Export Specialist** has the following main responsibilities:

- Respond to expedited client shipment requests
- Book with the respective cargo operators and transport companies based on the client need and request
- Prepare sale rate quotation to the client based on the best cost/ service solution provided by the transport companies
- Shipment’s pickup arrangements and planning for trips based on client timelines
- Shipment tracking, handling, billing, delivery and release
- Review and approval of suppliers’ invoices if required
- Correspondance with Overseas offices
- Responsible for resolving in a diligent and business efficient manner customer complaints and implement measures to prevent their frequency and recurrence
- Responsible to resolve internal and operation problems on a diligent and business efficient manner in order to prevent service deficiencies and/or customers’ dissatisfaction
- Improve on an ongoing basis internal systems and procedures in order to favor customer service and department internal efficiency
- Other tasks and duties assigned by the manager from time to time
- Availability for after hours follow up and attend to client calls for critical shipments

**Role Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in air freight export operations
- Trucking, Courier, Handcarry experience is a plus
- Good knowledge of the Canadian and US Air processes and regulations
- Good understanding of time sensitive shipments and ability to make quick turnaround for client request
- Read, monitor and respond promptly to all incoming communications (clients and other business partners - domestic and overseas) in order to properly manage and control daily operational issues
- Customer service oriented
- Understands the importance of team work and of maintaining harmonious and collaborative relations with his/her superiors, working colleagues and other departments' or stations' personnel
- Person meticulous and accountable
- Ability to set priorities and organize workload assigned in an efficient manner
- Ability to work in a fast paced working environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and in French, verbal and written

**Working Conditions**:

- Hybrid workplace - remote and on-site
- Employment Status: Regular, full-time
- Work week: 37.5 hours
