**General Carpenter - Property Restoration**

**PURE Restoration** is a full spectrum disaster restoration and reconstruction company providing comprehensive service to residential and commercial customers, property management companies and the insurance industry. We are currently seeking a full time General Carpenter to start immediately.

**Job Responsibilities and Duties include**:

- Remove plaster, drywall or paneling and assist with blanket insulation and installation of vapour barrier.
- Ability to read scope of work to determine method of installation, work procedures, materials and tool requirements.
- Ability to measure and install drywall panels to accommodate electrical outlets, air-conditioning units and plumbing.
- Ability to manage multiple construction projects and sites and work on-call for after-hours emergency work.
- Working knowledge of dry-walling, taping, texturing and painting.
- Working knowledge of rough and finish carpentry.
- Demonstrates the safe operation of shop tools and all other tools required for onsite construction.
- Follows all health and safety policies and procedures and adheres to company standards at customer sites.
- Maintains good housekeeping discipline on the job to ensure a safe, non-cluttered workplace to minimize cross contamination.
- Ensures quality control targets and timelines are met or exceeded.
- Maintains professional and service focused approach with property owner, occupants of the property, co-workers, and sub-contractors.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings or other structures.
- Ability to solve basic arithmetic problems quickly and accurately.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience and proven track record in restoration or related industry.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
