What you will do?_**
- Perform rough and finished carpentry work, including fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding, hardware,
- Repair and refinish furniture
- Perform finished carpentry for cabinets and other items
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and plans to complete work accurately.
- Carry out general maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, painting, ceiling work, window/door installation,
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and keep accurate records.
- Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies, including occasional after-hours calls.
- Maintain positive client and tenant relations by providing professional, courteous, and efficient service.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- ** Carpenter Journeyman certificate**.
- Minimum **4 years’ experience** in facility operations or carpentry/maintenance.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment under pressure, and solve problems quickly.
- Physically fit: able to crouch, kneel, lift 25+ kg, and perform hands-on tasks for extended periods.
- Must own a full set of carpentry tools (e.g., belt sander, hammer drill, table saw, skill saw).
