This individual will be responsible for managing the inventory room, ensuring accurate stock levels, issuing parts, and helping organize and maintain the maintenance shop. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented person who can efficiently track inventory while assisting with daily maintenance shop activities, ensuring that tools, equipment, and supplies are properly organized and accessible. - Oversee and maintain the inventory room, ensuring that all parts, tools, and supplies are properly organized and easy to locate.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring that they match purchase orders and are in good condition.
- Update and track inventory levels regularly through the maintenance management software to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
- Issue parts and supplies to maintenance personnel and ensure proper documentation of all inventory transactions in the software.
- Perform regular audits and stock checks using the software to ensure accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
- Communicate with the procurement team to order replacement parts or supplies as needed, utilizing software tools for order tracking.
- ** Maintenance Shop Support**:

- Assist in the daily organization of the maintenance shop by ensuring tools, equipment, and supplies are stored in designated areas.
- Help maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the maintenance shop to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist maintenance technicians in preparing parts or tools needed for daily tasks, with data and parts pulled directly from the maintenance software system.
- Organize and maintain the maintenance inventory to ensure that frequently used items are easily accessible.
- Support the maintenance team in completing general tasks such as basic repairs, troubleshooting, or preventive maintenance as required, while logging activities in the maintenance**management software.

- Regularly input and update parts and materials into the maintenance management software for accurate record-keeping.
- Use the software to manage inventory and ensure that maintenance requests and work orders are processed efficiently.
- Track and report parts usage and availability through the software, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Assist in generating reports for inventory and maintenance activities using the software to help inform maintenance schedules and budget decisions.
- Help maintenance personnel with software-related tasks, such as submitting work orders or tracking ongoing maintenance projects.

- Ensure that proper safety procedures are followed when handling parts, tools, or machinery.
- Assist with periodic inventory reconciliation and reporting for budgeting and operational purposes.
- Assist with any ad hoc projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or maintenance support preferred.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and parts is desirable.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software (such as CMMS - Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
