**Job Description: Labourer Class 3 Operator (Swing Operator)**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
We are seeking Foundations Labourer, class 3 operator who will be performing both labourer and operator tasks associated with the construction of foundations. This role involves working under the direction of the Foreman and other supervisory staff to ensure that foundation projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required specifications.

**Responsibilities**:
**Labourer Work - 80%**
- Prepare and Set up forms
- Mix and pour concrete
- Strip forms
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, including cement, rebar, and tools, to and from work sites.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe work environment.
- Must attend safety meetings
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Foreman or other supervisory staff to assist in the completion of the project.

**20% Heavy Equipment Operations**
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate heavy vehicles and machinery, such as concrete mixers, crane, hoe, skid steer, trucks, and other equipment, required for transporting and handling concrete and related materials.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Complete and communicate hazard assessment
- Perform material and tools check start and end of day

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **Experience: 3 years **experience in foundation work as a labourer
- 3 years experience as an equipment operator.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- **License**: Valid class 3 driver license, clean abstract and transport
- **Pre-employment D&A testing**:negative

**SKILLS**:

- Efficient working in all various weather conditions
- Proactive, good work ethics example attendance; lead by example
- Technical and mechanical knowledge
- Adaptability; able to adjust to new equipment or changes in the work environment

P**HYSICAL CAPABILITIES**:

- Physically Fit/ able to handle heavy loads up to 50kg (110lbs).
- Able to work long hours in standing positions and doing repetitive tasks.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be good with heights.
- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
