Greenstone Gold Mines L.P. is a 60/40 joint venture partnership between Equinox Gold and Orion Mine Finance Group formed for the purpose of the joint ownership and development of the Greenstone Gold Property including the Greenstone Mine located on a historical mine site in the Geraldton-Beardmore Greenstone belt in Ontario. The Greenstone Mine is managed directly by a dynamic and experienced Owner’s team, with an estimated $1.5 Billion investment over the three-year construction and commissioning phase, and a 14-year operating life of mine.
Greenstone Mine is seeking a Mill Maintenance Electrical/Instrumentation Planner to join our team. Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Senior Planner, the Mill Maintenance Electrical/Instrumentation Planner will work closely with all areas of Mill maintenance and operations to ensure work is planned, scheduled and ready for safe and accurate execution while ensuring adequate utilization of resources, labor, and materials.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE**: Work with operations to ensure mínimal disruption to production. Provide detailed maintenance schedules for daily routine work and procurement of materials for successful execution for both the Electrical and Mechanical departments. Develop work plans that are designed to safely operate without impact to employees, the business, the environment, and the community. Identify and escalate all critical issues that threaten the successful completion of work orders that may not meet completion deadlines. Conduct field walkdowns to properly scope out requested work to be performed as well as identifying and documenting any safety hazards that may need to be addressed prior to or during the work activity. Support Mill Maintenance, Operations and contractors on maintenance shutdown days and unplanned outages. Clearly communicate with tradespeople, operations groups, contractor representatives and materials suppliers the requirements needed from each group to meet our needs.

This position will be working both indoors and outdoors.
This position may require working at heights.
Due to the process used for gold production the use of respiratory and hearing protection will be required from time to time for this position when working in certain areas.
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION 5 years work experience in the electrical maintenance field. Electrical trades certification or degree in electrical engineering. Some supervisory or maintenance planning experience is highly desirable. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems such as Oracle or JD Edwards is necessary with SAP being the preferred type of such system.
LOCATION
This position will be based in Geraldton, Ontario
Greenstone Mine provides company transportation from multiple pick-up point locations.
