**Lift Attendant Supervisor**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the safety of all guests and employees while loading, riding, and unloading chair lifts.
- Schedule lift/tubing attendants, perform daily role call and assign attendants to designated lift and tubing stations
- Supervise the maintenance of ramps, signs and lift stations in a safe clean and orderly manner
- Operate lifts as a working member of the lift crew, give breaks to lift attendants
- Train lift attendants on all procedures outlined in the lift operations manual
- Respond to lift emergencies; identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Maintain clean and orderly workstations, giving special attention to safety and areas within public view
- Perform periodic lift operations training sessions.
- Be available to work weekends and all holidays
- Work with all other departments in a cooperative and supportive role
- Supervise the completion of all lift attendants daily lift logs and maintain accurate clock in/out times
- Maintain all lift operations files. Assist lift management in any way possible, when needed.
- Maintain all outdoor garbage cans, snow removal on pathways around the chalet, and help maintain cleanliness and litter removal around the entire facility. Particular attention being paid to sanding/salting all walk ways to ensure safety of all patrons.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred.
- Min. 1-year supervisory experience
- Possess mechanical aptitude
- Previous work experience as a lift attendant is beneficial
- Willing and able to work outside in adverse and variable weather conditions
**Skills Required**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty well. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
1. Accurate record keeping and legible handwriting. A positive attitude toward fellow staff and especially our guests.
2. Willingness to work with other members of the lift crew, other departments, and with our guests. People skills are required on a regular basis: The ability to deal with problems and solve problems on the spot are a must. You are, in many cases, the first person to encounter a difficult situation or problem.
3. Organizational skills, maintaining a clean work area, and following through on tasks are extremely important.
4. Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists. The ability to communicate all issues or solutions with your supervisor.
5. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions given in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
6. Valuable character traits such as honesty, common sense, reliability, and respect.
7. Ability to ski/board, and a familiarity with ski areas is preferred.
8. Basic computer skills are required, as all scheduling is done through an app/pc.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
