Housekeeping room attendants provide for the comfort of guests in our hotel by ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and properly presented. A housekeeping room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests, and must be pleasant, friendly, and able to address problems or special requests.
- Responsibilities: _
- Stock and sort supplies
- Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms
- Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries
- Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards
- Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets) as required
- Other related duties assigned by supervisor or manager
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: _
- Physical mobility and stamina required
- Ability to follow instruction
- Detail-oriented
- Professional attitude is required
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills
- Previous customer service experience may be required
- Good communication skills are an asset
- Good organizational skills
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is an asset

Wages/package:

- We offer an excellent hourly wage and will commensurate with experience
- Benefits (Co-paid) for Full Time employees
- Discount on rooms within the Genesis Hospitality Family of Hotels.

Note: This hotel is open 365 days a year, weekends and/or Holidays shifts may be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour

- Day shift

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
