**Restoration Technician - General Labour**

**Job Summary**

Clockwork Restoration is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Restoration Technician. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to restore properties damaged by water, fire, mould, or other disasters. This position will work closely with the Project Manager and Project Lead to ensure that project goals are met on all projects.

The role of the Restoration Technician involves responding promptly to emergency situations caused by water or fire damage to properties. The job holder is responsible for delivering high-quality services with expertise, proficiency, and professionalism to both the property and the customers. The position entails extensive work in cleaning and assisting clients in restoring their residential or commercial premises.

**Essential Duties**
- Conduct on-site evaluations to assess the extent of damage to the property.
- Responsible for assigned industry instruments and tools
- Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification of affected areas
- Remove damaged materials such as drywall, carpets, flooring, and insulation
- Perform mould remediation and sanitation to prevent further damage
- Set up drying equipment and monitor
- Conduct moisture testing and general inspections
- Perform cleaning and sanitization process for content as required
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
- Assist with equipment clean up and proper storage
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations
- Documenting affected materials at the job site

**Experience/Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent is an asset
- Certification in water damage restoration, fire and smoke damage restoration, or mould remediation is an asset (we provide training)
- Experience in the restoration industry preferred
- Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
- A valid G driver's license is a must (An abstract will be requested).
- Criminal Background Check (will be requested)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces
- Proficient in operating hand and power tools safely
- Willingness to work evenings, on-call shifts, and weekends as needed
- Occasional travel may be required
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with technology are expected

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
