Your role
**Responsibilities**:
- Performs necessary and regular follow-ups to obtain proof of insurance renewals for the construction loan portfolio, coordinates policy reviews with the insurance consultant as required and enters information promptly into the loan management system.
- Work in conjunction with the Senior Analysts Operations - Funding to prepare for the processing of new loans and subsequent advance disbursements.
- Enter data into the loan management system from approval documents and financing offers.
- Enter information related to movable and immovable collateral into the loan management system.
- Review periodic reviews and validate that certain information agrees with the loan management system.
- Participate in the month-end control process by ensuring the integrity of the information entered into the loan management system.
- Participate in various information requests and analyses including those related to audits.
- Participate in initiatives under the responsibility of the Operations team.
- Provide suggestions for process improvements for activities under his.her responsibility.
**Profile**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or other related training
- One (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of the Office Suite and advanced knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of the PLM system, an asset
- Experience in the banking industry (mortgage loans and syndication an asset)
- Strong analytical skills, rigor and autonomy
- Ability to work in a team on complex files
- Customer oriented (internal and external)
- Excellent organizational, time management and priority setting skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
- Ability to challenge processes in order to improve them
- Superior communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to present and recommend ideas
- Excellent communication skills in French and an advanced level of English (oral and written)
- As Otéra operates across Canada and in the United States, the person will be required to interact with our various teams based in Montreal, Toronto and New York.
