Position Summary

We are looking for Experienced Audio Visual (AV) Installers to join our team in Vancouver, BC.

Main responsibilities include performing installations for audio visual projects, including, cable pulls, cable terminations, install AV equipment in room a d in rack, rack building, and layout for equipment.

The AV installers may be expected to lead jobs as competence grows. Some system testing by coordinating and reporting progress to Project Manager ensuring projects achieve time, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- install client AV as defined by the PM
- Must be safety oriented
- Good working knowledge of computer hardware systems, PCs, laptops, etc.
- Perform installation tasks as noted in job packages based on documented deliverables
- Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other installation system related tasks
- Test cabling and functionality of systems
- Track, manage, and secure all associated equipment and tools on jobsite
- Communicate updates on site status to the Project Manager
- Other duties assigned as needed

Skills & Abilities:

- Effectively communicate with employees, customers, and colleagues
- Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
- Computer Knowledge, understanding of IP addressing and networks
- Knowledge of wiring configurations and/or signal flow for audio, video, control
- Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the customers
- Overtime may be required from time to time

Education and/or Experience:

- Minimum of 2+ years in audiovisual, electronics, or related industry installation experience required
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- CTS-I General Certification is preferred
- Nice to have: Manufacturer training / certificates such Biamp, QSC, Crestron, AMX, Extron etc.

**Requirements**:

- Good to have: Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Able to work with basic handheld tools
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check
