In this role, you will provide essential support in our marketing efforts, including serving as a backup to the Social Media Coordinator and assisting with onsite event marketing efforts. This volunteer position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, social media management, and event promotion.

**Responsibilities**:

- Event Marketing: Assist with the planning, organizing, and execution of onsite marketing activities during events, including setting up promotional materials, capturing live content (photos/videos), and engaging with attendees to promote the event and brand.
- Analytics and Reporting: Support the team in tracking social media performance and event engagement, gathering data to analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, event coordinators, and other volunteers to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives.
- General Marketing Support: Assist with various marketing tasks as needed, such as managing marketing collateral, coordinating with vendors, and supporting the overall marketing strategy.
- Social Media Support: Act as the backup for the Social Media Coordinator, assisting with content creation, scheduling posts, and engaging with our online community on various social media platforms during their absence or busy periods.

**Qualifications**:

- Interest in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn).
- Basic content creation skills (copywriting, photography, video editing) are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative when needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility and adaptability, especially in a fast-paced event environment.
- Previous experience in marketing, social media management, or event promotion is beneficial but not required.
