**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? **We are looking for a **Technical Dairy Sales Representative** to join our growing Dairy Sales team and partner with an established and growing customer base of valued local dairy producers This position requires someone who is energetic, passionate about people, the Alberta Dairy industry, and can take great care of the customers we serve.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**

We count on your expertise and experience to develop strong business relationships and grow the business line of Dairy Sales.
- Build committed and long-term partnerships with our dairy customers.
- Responsible for growing the AB dairy portfolio within the region.
- In conjunction with the nutrition team, responsible for balancing rations and provide on-farm consultation to maximize productivity and profitability for our Dairy producers.
- Support other team members in ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop positive relationships with industry professionals and producers.
- Provide strategic business planning input as requested.
- Portray an image of leadership and service to the dairy and feed industry.
- Act as a Trouw Nutrition representative at customer events, tradeshows and conferences.

**PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA**:

- BSc in agricultural science or relevant degree.
- Is knowledgeable and passionate about the Alberta Dairy industry and dairy operations in Western Canada.
- Ability to build trusting and long-term relationships with dairy producers.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organized and demonstrate time management skills.
- Flexibility and a willingness to be coached and learn processes.

**GOOD TO KNOW**:

- A valid drivers’ license is required for this role.
- Ability to travel to customers and attend sales events.
- Must be passionate about your career
