The Donor Research Assistant is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating prospective donors to support the organization's fundraising efforts. This role involves conducting in-depth research on individuals, corporations, and foundations, generating actionable insights, and maintaining accurate donor profiles to optimize engagement and philanthropic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research and analyze prospective donors’ financial capacity, giving history, interests, and affiliations.
- Prepare detailed donor profiles, reports, and recommendations for fundraising teams.
- Use tools, databases, and public resources to identify new donor prospects.
- Track trends in philanthropy to identify potential funding opportunities.
- Collaborate with development teams to align research with organizational goals.
- Maintain and update donor databases to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in donor research, data analysis, or a related role in the nonprofit sector is preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in French or Arabic is an asset.
