_**Position Overview**:_

ACQBUILT is seeking a **Machine Operator.** As a member of the Floors Department the Machine Operator is responsible for operation of computer numerical control machines for cutting all lumber, joist and beam material required for building floor panels. The Machine operator also performs tasks involving physical labor and operation of equipment and a variety of hand and power tools.
- **Responsibilities Include**:_
- Understand basic machine interface, how to pull up job files, cut stock length, move conveyors.
- Perform simple, routine, and repetitive tasks under mínimal supervision.
- Adequate production volume of designated saw
- Able to understand and pull relevant information from SEMA prints.
- Maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Ensuring that the required materials and supplies are available.
- Production of parts according to the quality control procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance with mínimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues, report more complex issues.
- Informing the team leader or supervisor about any issues that may negatively impact production.
- Participating actively in problem solving sessions, continuous improvement initiatives.
- **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**:_
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Experience and/or certification as a CNC Operator, preferably in a millwork, cabinetry, or lumber capacity
- Demonstrated capacity to learn new software on computers and tablets.
- Residential construction knowledge preferred.
- Previous experience with the following tools (hammer, hammer tacker, measuring tape, speed square, skill saw, reciprocating saw, drill, air gun, nail gun)
- Knowledge of imperial and metric measurement systems.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Knowledge of company health and safety rules.
- Physically fit.

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
