Work Schedule:

  • 4x10 schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • 3-day weekends every week

About the Role:

As a Machine Operator in our Manual Build Department, you'll operate CNC machines to cut lumber, joists, and beams used in home construction. You'll also perform hands-on work using tools and equipment to support daily production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC equipment: load job files, cut stock lengths, and manage conveyors
  • Produce parts according to quality and production standards
  • Read and interpret SEMA prints, blueprints, and shop drawings
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
  • Report equipment or production issues to your supervisor
  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
  • Experience or certification as a CNC Operator (millwork, cabinetry, or lumber experience preferred)
  • Ability to learn new computer or tablet-based software
  • Basic knowledge of residential construction (an asset)
  • Skilled with hand and power tools (hammer, saws, drills, nail guns, etc.)
  • Knowledge of both imperial and metric measurement systems
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Physically fit and safety conscious

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
