**What You Will Do**:

- Perform minor machine maintenance as required
- Utilize job plans to cut material to required lengths
- Performs material handling functions such as taking cut pieces to proper area of plant for further processing
- Utilize measuring tools to ensure specifications of the product are being met according to the job plans
- Complete required paperwork, including quality plans and cleaning plans.
- Complete any required preparation work prior to running the machine
- Organize the raw material in order to the production schedule
- Assist in maintaining inventory counts of the raw material
- Able to operate multiple asset production cell
- Work in a safe manner, follow all rules, regulations and legislation
- Follow Lean Manufacturing guidelines

**Position Details**:

- Working at the South Edmonton facility dominantly
- Permanent
- Full-time
- Mainly working day shift operations, with overtime as required
- Rotating shift between day and afternoon shift (night shift may be required dependent on business conditions)
- Weekend or night shift may be required dependent on business conditions

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Able to read blueprints
- Working knowledge of measuring tools, including gauges and verniers
- Good communication skills
- Able to read, write and effectively communicate in English
- Reliable
- Able to work shift work (transfer between day and afternoon shifts)
- Overtime as required

**Physical Demands**
- Pre-employment physical demands assessment required upon hire
- Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day
