**Mohave Grill at the Deerfoot inn and Casino 1st cook nights**

At the deerfoot inn and casino We’re Fun. We are looking for energetic career minded individual. You will work as part of a highly motivated kitchen team with the deerfoot inn and casino. This position is primarily nights starting any where between 1-3 pm nightly. You will need to work weekends and will have two days off a week. This position is Full time

**Summary of Responsibilities**:

- Prepare your station daily
- Assist putting orders away with FIFO
- Attend to customers dietary needs
- Operating basic kitchen equipment
- Making lists for preparing and ordering of product
- Communicate bill times with other cooks online
- Deal with complaints and remakes in a professional timely manner
- Prepare menu items in accordance with recipes and pictures
- Looking professional, clean, and proper uniform always
- Communicate any equipment needs, repairs needed to supervisor
- Able to work unsupervised
- Able to organize, plan and execute at a high level
- Additional responsibilities as asked by sous chef

**Requirements**:

- The successful applicant must have 2 or more year’s kitchen Line cook experience.
- must be good under pressure and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- must be open to new ideas
- must have good knife skills
- must have good organizational skills
- must be able to work as part of a team
- has basic supervisory skills
- red seal papers are recommended
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts and weekends
- Must be committed and dedicated to work and show up on time every day
