We are looking for a **Shipper/Receiver** to join our warehouse team

The Shipper/Receiver position performs a full range of tasks related to accurate and efficient freight handling.

**What you will do**:

- Document the inbound/outbound materials and ensure shipping deadlines, goals, and standards are met
- Ensure Health & Safety policies and procedures are met
- Ensure inbound/outbound material area is clean, clear of hazards/debris and organized
- Verify quantities on incoming PO’s
- Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
- Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer’s order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct.
- Must ensure you are wearing appropriate PPE dictated by the work conditions (indoor and outdoor)

**What you have**:

- Highschool Education
- First Aid level 1 an asset
- WHMIS Certification an asset
- Valid Forklift license an asset

**Who you are**:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse with inbound/outbound materials
- Able to lift to 50lbs repetitively
- Have a high level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Able to regularly stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shifts
- Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment depending on the item weight, including pallet jack, forklift, Straddle Stacker and by hand
- Proficient with computer use
- Proficient in the English language (written/spoken) with excellent communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
