**The Shipper/Receiver is the crew chief**. It is the Shipper/Receiver’s responsibility to ensure:
(i) That these procedures are understood and followed by all applicable personnel.
(ii) Report any safety hazards.
(iii) Report any Food Packaging Safety Risks.
(iv) Inspect Trailers for food packaging safety risks
(v) Best possible productivity levels are being achieved.
(vi) Proper storage of all raw materials and finished goods and work in process.
(vii) That all quality requirements are in compliance.

**Duties**:

- Safe handling and movement of materials through out the plant.
- Instruct the crew as required.
- Receive goods, properly inspect and verify them and store them to prevent damage or adulteration.
- Ship goods, verify them for product and quantity, complete documentation.
- Complete all documentation associated with each shipment received and shipped.
- Adhere to customer delivery specifications.
- Manage the storing and use of raw materials.
- Arrange shipments/pickups, timing and scheduling of shipments/pickups and use of Outside Carriers.
- Remove the finished pallet from the line, stretch wrap loads as required and store product.
- Create labels for all finishing process.
- Maintain housekeeping in the Shipping and Receiving department.

**Salary**: $21.63-$24.15 per hour
