Summit Start Cityscape is looking for a dynamic Early Childhood Educator to join our amazing Cityscape team.

**Position Overview**:
As an Early Childhood Educator at our daycare, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and guiding young minds in their early stages of development. You will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, energetic, caring and engaging learning environment for children, thereby fostering their holistic development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be a brand ambassador. You are the face of the company
- Build relationships with co-worker, families and the community by creating trust and always acting with integrity.
- Participating in Professional Development training and being up to date on best practices in childcare.
- Always ensure that the facility is hygienic, safe and healthy for children.
- Be knowledgeable of and adhere to licensing standards at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Alberta Childcare Certificate **Level 1, 2 or Level 3**:

- Must be between **18 and 30 years of age** at the start of employment (as per the Canada Summer Jobs program).
- Must be a **Canadian citizen**or **permanent resident**(as per the Canada Summer Jobs program).
- Great personality and lots of energy - You'll need it
- Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level B or C Certification.
- Clear & Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector obtained within the last 6 months.
- Ability to work exceptionally well in teams
- Excellent verbal and written skills (English)

This position is part of the Canada Summer Job Program. Participants are hired on a fixed term contract with the possibility of permanent employment at the end of the summer.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Fixed term contract, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: $19.64 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
