**At Kidco Construction, we are building Calgary from the ground down.**

We are looking a recent grad to join the Earthworks team as a **Project Coordinator/ Estimator**. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to get their foot in the door and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves - be it quantity take offs, specifications reviews, or daily progress and cost tracking, including invoices.

**Your core responsibilities**:

- Estimating costs, preparing estimate packages for both public and private sector work
- Coordinating initial project planning
- Support the efficient scheduling and management of resources (crews, equipment, & subcontractors)
- Daily entering of timesheets while reviewing for accuracy and completeness of costs and revenue items
- Meeting and regularly communicating with site foreman, consultants, and clients
- Providing updates on project status to the project team and the client
- Must be able to maintain positive relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
- Is a new grad from an accredited engineering, geomatics, or project management diploma program (some industry experience considered an asset)
- Has experience in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite
- Holds a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Possesses strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Can build rapport quickly and is a team player
- Is efficient and highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Is able to work weekends and overtime when required
- **Most importantly -** is curious, a natural problem solver, has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
