Job Title: Production Team Lead - Assembly
1st shift
Pay rate $21.75
7am-3:30pm, plus OT
Hours per week: 40 hours

Primary Function
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Team Lead is responsible for providing support with
the organization of assemblies, ensuring delivery schedules are met, providing guidance on
production methods/procedures and providing coaching and training to assembly personnel. The
Team Lead will be directly involved with the manufacturing process, including and not limited to
proactively identifying shortages, locating/gathering of parts, mechanical assembly, and ensuring
the delivery of finished product through to the test area and final shipping.
**Essential Functions/Position Requirements**
- Assist Production Supervisor with the coordination of personnel requirements on a day-today and hour-to-hour basis, reviewing daily production & Takt requirements, and
matching/sharing appropriate staff across departments to maximize productivity/efficiencies.
- Check parts picked/delivered to parts required. Resolve discrepancies, if any, with
Supervisor.
- Report on production issues to applicable parties, e.g., Production Supervisor(s) and/or
Production Manager.
- Ensure employees work to standard operating procedures, bill of materials, manufacturing
information, and instruction from Management or Engineering to established procedures.
- Maintain & promote a positive commitment to driving a Zero Incident Safety Culture.
- Promote a continuous improvement culture through the utilization of LEAN tools, fostering
an environment that utilizes facts/data to identify potential problems and implement
corrective action.
- Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary, using the principles of
5S.
- Review drawings on layout and modules, check for accuracy. Review Bill of Materials and
special material requirements. Ensure the necessary drawings, materials, and tools are
available prior to start of assembly.
- Ensures material is available for production line, to meet scheduled demand.
- Complete Non-Conformance Reports, as required, and follow-up on disposition.
- Ensure proper transactions in Oracle to complete jobs and ensure Balance on Hand (BOH)
accuracy. Provide assistance to employees with Oracle transactions, as required.
- Take daily attendance, logging instances of absenteeism and elevating chronic
attendance/punctuality issues.
- Assist team in achieving plant and department goals.
- Contribute to development & delivery of dept. performance evaluations; Enforce company
Policy and elevate performance issues.
- Perform other duties as required.
**Salary**: $20.00-$21.75 per hour
