**seeking a Clinical Instructor to educate and supervise clinical student placements in Kamloops.
**HCA 170-Complex Residential Care -HCA practicum**
The clinical part of the HCA program focuses on creating block placement opportunities for students to
setting. Students will practice clinical and caregiving procedures with clients/residents under the direct
supervision of a clinical instructor. Please visit our website for course descriptions and further information about

**Instructor Qualifications:
- Current full practicing registration as LPN/RN/RPN with the BCCNM
- Minimum two years of full-time nursing experience (1 year=1400 hours), with relevant knowledge of the

Canadian health care system including,
- Experience in working with older adults with complex health needs.
- Experience or orientation (e.g., shadow shifts) in-home support and multi-level/complex care
- Experience in teaching students in a clinical setting
- Evidence of completion of coursework in Indigenous cultural safety and humility (eg, San’yas Anti
- Racism Indigenous Cultural Safety Training or an alternative training program
- Excellent verbal, written, and computer communication skills.
- Experience in MS Teams and Moodle learning platforms
- Proven ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

**Terms**:
Appointment to this position will require a formal criminal record check, the details of which may preclude an
offer of employment being finalized. Instructors will be reporting to the HCA Program Manager.

**Closing Date**:December 6, 2024**
**Contract Dates: January 6, to February 7, 2025**
**Schedule: Mon
- Fri 6:45am-2:45pm**

**Salary: LPN - $57/hour**
**RN- $62 - $68/hour (Based on teaching experience)**
**Job Location: Kamloops**
