OVERVIEW

The grounds maintenance will be responsible for maintaining all lawns and gardens of the entire. Periodically supporting other positions to ensure the productivity of the operations department. At times this position will assist with event set up and teardown to increase efficiency in coordination and execution of duties.

JOB DUTIES
- Maintain the grounds of the park by performing all operations duties related to the park aesthetics.
- Ensure safety in the grounds and all areas of the park to ensure safe guest experiences
- Clean up all debris on the ground in all areas of the park to maintain a clean aesthetic
- Weed and mulch all gardens on the grounds to promote garden health
- Plant annuals and perennials in designated locations
- Water and fertilize annuals or new plantings to improve garden health and appearance
- Assist on Event days when requested to facilitate efficient
- Events coordination and execution
- Assist in the parking lot on some days when required to facilitate safe trafficking/outflow
- Knowledge of weed trimmers and commercial tractors is required.
- Tree trimming to ensure the health of treed areas
- General yard clean up and debris removal.
- Fill hand wash stations when required
- Power spray patio’s, tables, feeding decks and food locations on a weekly basis
- Experience with driving a gator and pulling a trailer is required.

DUTIESON SITE
- Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

OVERALL REQUIREMENTS

Previous general labor or gardening experiences an asset

Safe use and operation of lawn and gardening tools

Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills

Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently

Problem-solving and resolution skills

Adherence company policies and procedures

Attention to detail in all areas of work

High level of personal integrity

Strong work ethic

Self-motivated and independent

Available to work weekends, holidays, weekdays

Certification in WHMIS and Workplace Health and Safety considered

WORK CONDITIONS

Manual dexterity is required to use tools and operate equipment

Work in various weather conditions, indoor/outdoor

Lifting or moving up to 50lbs

Safety boots
