Down East Hospitality Inc. is a multi-unit restaurant franchise that owns and operates 8 Tim Hortons Restaurants across HRM. We are looking for someone who has at least 1-3 years of Tim Hortons experience and has knowledge of the quick service industry, taking pride in supporting the General Manager and Owner in the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced business.
**What you’ll do**
- Responsible for supporting restaurants with daily operations
- Pick up daily deposits from each restaurant and drop off at local bank
- Transfer product, coin, equipment, etc. within restaurants when needed
- Deliver paperwork/supplies to and from restaurants and head office
- Help support restaurants and serve guests when restaurants are short staff, supporting the team and motivating them to meet speed of service goals
- Able to complete daily deposit and support restaurant with cash handling procedures
- Assist with calling support and troubleshooting when technical issues arise
- Assist with calibrations and cleaning of major equipment, switching out broken equipment
- Assist with covering shifts and/or transporting team members from one restaurant to another
- Complete restaurant self-audits and help prepare the restaurants for their inspections
- Assist in serving guests where necessary and respond to special guest requests in
- a friendly manner
- Comfortable communicating with Restaurant Manager and Supervisors
- Help train new team members, rotate between restaurants to give support on the floor
- Coach and mentor the team when needed
- Have valid drivers license and access to your own vehicle
- Have excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate a passion for guest service and creating exceptional guest experiences
- Are organized, results-driven and a proven multi-tasker
- Pride yourself on building relationships with guests and teammates
- Have strong operational experience
- Have a working knowledge of health and safety and food standards

Salary to be determined based on skills and experience.
Schedule:
Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm
OFF Tuesday and Wednesday (we are flexible with changing your days off but weekends are required)
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Drivers License and access to your own vehicle
- Legally allowed to work in Canada
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Team Player
- Tim Hortons Experience
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and strong multi-tasking skills
