Overview:
Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for an **Systems Support Technician** to join our high-tech engineering and manufacturing company that is committed to customer service excellence and continuous improvement. Reporting to the **Manager, Software Infrastructure**, you will design, implement and troubleshoot systems that meet user needs for general and customizable test platforms. You will utilize your knowledge of operations to maintain a truly extensible and full featured system; supporting 100 test servers and 500 devices under test in our state-of-the-art software lab.

**The Location**: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Calgary, AB.

**This position requires office visits to maintain lab hardware and is not eligible for full time WFH.**

**Responsibilities**:
As a **Systems Support Technician**, you will:

- Support and operate all aspects of existing Jenkins/GitLab based CI/CD systems
- Stack and rack computers in our software lab
- Wire setups and troubleshoot issues in our software lab
- Support ordering software/hardware to enable development and test

Qualifications:
**Must-Have**:

- Post-secondary education with relevant work experience
- Configure and deploy computer systems
- Proven ability to set-up test systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems containing hardware and software
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Version control experience using Perforce and/or Git
- Experience working with CI/CD systems using **Jenkins** and/or **GitLab**:

- Linux Experience
- Experience with configuring computer hardware (CompTIA A+ certification or similar)
