Responsibilities & Duties:

- Lead and manage a team of R&D managers, team leads, and professionals.
- Lead the financial operations of the department, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring a positive return on investment.
- Define R&D strategies, goals, and objectives to align with business priorities and drive innovation in software development.
- Collaborate with the executive team to identify market opportunities, explore new technologies, and develop innovative product roadmaps.
- Translate business goals & product requirements into actionable development plans.
- Manage strategic partnerships with vendors and suppliers.
- Perform a full range of leadership responsibilities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of management experience within the software industry.
- Proficient in operational and financial aspects of a software company.
- Knowledge of general business financial principals.
- Experience managing multiple teams of engineers and other business professionals.
- Excellent team player able to manage and prioritize work for self and staff.
- Some travel may be required.
