We are seeking a **Plant Services Lead Hand** to join our team

In this role you will be providing guidance and direction to Plant Services staff. The Team Leader will provide the direction and support necessary to provide a clean and safe environment for all staff, by performing various building cleaning services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Select, wear, adjust, use, and maintain personal protective apparel and equipment.
- Organization of department work assignments.
- Provide training and instruction to plant services staff.
- Select, wear, adjust, use, and maintain personal protective apparel and equipment.
- Select use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Floor maintenance, sweeping, dusting, mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
- Cleaning, dusting, sanitation of all working surfaces.
- Cleaning, dusting, sanitation of all washroom surfaces.
- Proper handling of liquid waste
- Operation of plant ride on floor washer

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience of team leading within a cleaning team
- Experience in the safe operation of floor cleaning equipment and other industrial cleaning materials
- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and understand English and to document stipulated records as instructed.
- Approachable and helpful with a flexible approach and ability to work occasional weekends and during company shutdown periods
- Forklift License an asset

**Salary**: Competitive salary based on experience

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
