**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- Actively engage with current and former residents in arrears collections.
- Review, approve and administer all resident payment plans.
- Monitor and maintain up-to-date resident ledgers and records regarding collections efforts.
- Resolve resident inquiries including investigations and payment disputes.
- Perform resident ledger reconciliations where necessary.
- Escalate collections with the field teams as required
- Tracing and locating debtors to arrange debt payoffs.
- Generate reports on collection activities and accounts receivable status.
- Other duties as required.

**WHAT WILL YOU NEED?**
- Proven experience in a Collections Specialist or similar role.
- Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.
- Understanding of laws and regulations surrounding debt collection.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively (written and verbal).
