**Key Job Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Maintenance Manager to ensure all preventative maintenance is scheduled and performed safely and efficiently
- Respond and rectify any breakdowns as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Order all materials and parts required to maintain efficiency in the department, which includes inventory levels
- Track materials and equipment information through company purchase order system
- Promote a positive and upbeat environment when dealing with Staff and Suppliers
- Assist Staff as much as possible

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Whatever is required of you to benefit the Team and Organization
- Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic
- 2yrs Field or shop experience
- Leadership/Management experience and or training within field/shop experience time
- Class 5 BC drivers license, with a clean abstract

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong, effective communication
- Understanding and Knowledge of all department requirements for compliance with any outside governing bodies, in the Groups applicable Industries.
- Organizational and Planning Skills

**Special Requirements**:

- _Welding Certification_
- _Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification_
