As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives within a specific district or region. **Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve district sales targets and objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement and implement appropriate strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and other stakeholders to maximize sales opportunities and drive customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, provide coaching, and address any issues or concerns within the sales team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and achieve overall business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify business opportunities and address potential challenges.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service skills.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
**Required Skills**:
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas, proposals, and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and generate reports.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel within the district or region as required.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and achieving sales targets.
- Experience in the industry or sector related to the products or services being sold is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and market analysis.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Strong understanding of sales metrics and analytics.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
Pay: $57,685.88-$70,000.00 per year
