Supervisor of Operations

We are looking for a skilled school bus driver who wants to grow their managerial skills and become the supervisor in charge. This requires managing routes, schedules, drivers, any client compliants, and recruitment and retention of new customers and clients.

Key Driver Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a bus to transport passengers to their destinations
- Follow designated routes and adhere to established schedules
- Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during transit
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bus interior
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the appropriate authorities

Key Supervisors Responsibilities:

- Design routes
- Train drivers and monitor compliance
- Manage staffing schedule and fill in for any absences
- Recruit new customers (daycares, parents, after school programs)
- Retain customers (manage any issues or complaints and maintain good relationships)
- Manage maintenance cycle of the vehicles
- Any other key day to day or strategic responsibilities as they are required

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a school bus driver required
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Experience working with children
- Commercial driving experience is an asset
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle maintenance

As a Bus Driver and Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children by providing safe and reliable transportation. This role will report into the Director.

**Salary**: $150.00 per day
