**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate buses on designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and answering any questions they may have.
- Educate passengers on safety procedures, including the proper use of seat belts and emergency exits.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior, ensuring a comfortable environment for all riders.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Assist children and seniors as needed, providing additional support to ensure their safety during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or passenger needs.
- Document daily activities, including mileage, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during the shift.

**Qualifications**
- Valid B Category driver’s license with a 3 year clean driving record is required.
- Previous experience in commercial driving or transportation services is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Experience working with children or in senior care settings is a plus.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle is beneficial.
- Ability to write clear reports and document incidents accurately as needed.
- A commitment to safety and a passion for helping others are essential traits for this role.
