**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Do some range and motion to better the residents mobility and motor skills.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and assist patient during meal times.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following hygiene protocols and cleaning procedures.
- Support hospice care by offering emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient progress and report any concerns to parents or healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility needs, including transferring patients safely from beds to wheelchairs or other seating arrangements.
- Engage patients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.

**Skills**
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices in various settings such as in home care.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet the dietary needs of resident.
- Compassionate approach towards client care, demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams, patients, and families.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean environment that promotes health and safety for patient.
