Chef Tandoori Cook for Pakistani and North Indian

HouseCook is a meal prep/catering company that prides itself in creating a positive atmosphere with a primary focus of exceeding all expectations of our clients. Our cuisine includes Pakistan/North Indian and Western Healthy cuisines. We are building a team and strongly believe in the culture of teamwork, hardwork and positivity. **Responsibilities**:
- Must have excellent knowledge of Pakistani and North Indian Cuisine
- Assist in the prep of the kitchen plan
- Setup work stations with all the necessary ingredients and the cooking equipment
- Prep and marinate the necessary ingredients along the team
- Work with the team to ensure the best quality of meals are produced
- Ensure the presentation is great by garnishing and dressing the dishes
- Assist in the packing of all the food packages
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment
- Maintain record of food costs, consumption and inventory
- Help in creation of recipes
- Supervise the team
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as cook +3 years
- Proven experience in cooking Pakistani and North Indian Cuisine
- Excellent knowledge of Indian Spices
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures
- Ability to work in team
- Excellent physical stamina
- Valid G Drivers license is an asset
- Ability to work sometimes on the weekends, evening or overtimes but will be compensated accordingly.
**Our Central Kitchen is based in Burlington, so please have the ability to travel to Burlington**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual, Freelance
**Salary**: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
