Invoicing and Payables Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process and verify vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all invoices are properly coded and approved before payment.
- Prepare and issue payment for accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain an organized on-line filing system for invoices and payment records.
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment issues.
- Participation in the implementation of continuous process improvement projects;
- Support other accounting team members as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in accounts payable or invoicing.
- Proficient in SAP and Sage accounting software.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in **English and French**.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; CEGEP degree in accounting or finance

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
